How do I find my battlefield 2 serial key?

I want to update battlefield 2, and would like to backup or write down my legit serial key somewhere first because I have since lost the original cd case etc. with the serial on it, and if I were to need to reinstall, I would need my serial key. Look in the back of the case or look inside. You should find a number somewhere. If not try contacting the manufacturer.
