How to get new weapons in battlefield bad company 2?

All of the weapons in battlefield bad company 2 are available after a certain number of points are reached in each class level. For example: Say I get 1000 points using the assault class, I might then be able to get a new weapon or attachment. After each round of BBC2 there is a section on the "sum up" board that is titled 'Unlocks' and that tab will show you how close you are to unlocking the next item in each class. The weapon or gadget automatically becomes available (you dont have to go to some special screen or something). Weapons and gadgets are also available through purchase online. They have add-ons that unlock all of the weapons and gadgets in a specific class.

I would say Bad Company 2, the campaign is good and the online has longevity to it.
I haven't played Lost Planet 2 so I can't help with that one. I play Bad Company 2 quite regularly, though. The single player campaign is good and a decent length, though not huge. The online multiplayer is competitive but not as frustrating as some games, and the size of the maps/teams allows for some thought and strategy, as well as giving you the chance to vary how you play. If you find yourself with a talkative squad (as I did only a couple of days ago), it's enormous fun. Even without that, I consider it very good.
Graphically, the environments are detailed and largely quite impressive, though the desert ones less so. The character models are fine, but not as well animated as in some games. The sound, which is something I don't usually notice, is outstanding. At one point in the campaign I fired a shot from a sniper rifle into a kind of canyon area, and the sound echoed quite impressively.

Once you play a single game of it, you will never, ever want to play Modern Warfare 2 again. The only way you would want to play again is if you lack the skill to play Bad Company 2.
The bullets actually take time to travel. Everything (Including rockets and bullets) drop with gravity. The maps are huge. The grenade launchers don't kill everyone within 50 feet. It is mainly used for destroying buildings and objectives. You can't knife from 15+ feet. You have to be right next to the enemy, so it actually takes skill. Only one weapon is overpowered. You actually feel like you're in a war because the objectives move along the map as they are destroyed.
Trust me I have both games and the DLC map packs for mw2, I like both games equally and would recommend you getting BFBC2 as it is a GREAT game and will give you way more enjoyment, and play time then just getting mw2 map packs. Dont' get me wrong the map packs are good but only about half of the maps are worth buying and they are all in different map packs and most of them are from Cod:4 (lol) And it isnt like you are missing out on much, you can get those at a different time as they are a lot cheaper. I think it's better to uninstall the cracked version and do a clean install from the disc. That way you would be able to download the latest patch and you never know what stuffs arent supposed to be in the illegal version. Better to be safe than sorry right? In my opinion modern warfare to is more of a game to stick to. there is more of a variety in Mw2 then BFBC2. However BFBC2 is a VERY fun game while u play. Sniping is more challenging and the game takes a little getting used to. I just rented the game for 4 days and got bored with it. There are only 4 types of classes. so theres not much of a change. ANd battlefied really tests your patience.
Overall i'd stick with Mw2. i am still playing it even tho i have BFBC2. theres more of a variety in Mw2 and u can have the most fun with it. I hope i helped!!

Then there are the transportation side of the game, You can drive tanks, helicopters, jet skis, boats, atvs, you name it.

conquest is about working as a large team in various squads to take control of specific locations on the map with the ultimate goal of maintaining the majority of control and over running the opposing team.
squad deathmatch is about fighting as individual squads of ~5 players against various other squads with the goal of being the first squad to 50 kills total.
rush is the act of one team attacking and attempting to destroy two locations on the map while the opposing team defends. once those locations are destroyed, the attacking team moves onto two new locations. the goal is to completely over run the defending team or to defend and stop the attacking team.
I play mw2 and bf2bc. mw2 is great for quick play and killstreak rewards and whatnot. BF2:BC though has the best realism out of all the games i have ever played. I did a tour in iraq and let me tell you...the sounds and shellings/exposions couldnt have been more realistic. BF2:BC is all about teamwork though and has longer games. You do level up in BF to different ranks and you get better weapons and weapon attachments as well. There is no kill streak rewards but you do get some thing such as the ability to call in an artillery strike every few minutes with the recon class.
Theres different game modes like rush and conquest. In rush if you're the attackers then you have to destroy a bomb site when the defenders, defend. Conquest is basically like a domination except it takes a little longer to get the flags. Why am I only getting one weapon unlock at Battlefield 2?
I have recently bought Battlefield 2 Complete Collection. I was told that if I had the Special Forces expansion, I'd get 2 weapon unlocks per rankup. I've currently ranked up to lance corporal, and received one unlock only. I know SF is installed because when I click on the community tab, I can switch to Special Forces game mode. How can I use my Battlefield 2 mod?
I have the Battlefield 2 Demo and I downloaded the Mercenaries v 2.0 mod. My problem is that the game has not changed at all. How can I get this mod to actually work?How can I use my Battlefield 2 mod?
Well if it installed a short cut then use that. If it didn't then launch the bf2 demo and go to the community tab and selecting custom games. Then select the mod.
If that feature is not there than the BF2 Demo doesn't allow you to play mods.

Basically you need to install the 1.41 patch after installing Special Forces.
You should then be able to install the booster packs and then you have to install the 1.41 patch again.

Onslaught mode isn't worth the $10 imo because it's just shooting bots to relieve stress. You don't get XP that carries over to the regular game which is the reason why I bought it because I was told otherwise. Onslaught mode isn't worth the $10 imo because it's just shooting bots to relieve stress. Also your pc only comes with 512mb of ram as standard, so you will be wanting at least another 512mb, but you would be better off with more especially if you are running vista or 7.

The lest level is level 50 but i think you can reset to go back to 1 because if you look at the top of the leaderboards on PS3 a guy named digard was level 50 one day then i re checked and he was like level 9.

You need a Ethernet cable. You plug one end into the network adapter, you plug the other end into a Cable modem. Then just put the start up disc in and follow the instructions.

I don't own BF2 but I believe I might be able to help you. Before you do any of the changes I'm about to give you I strongly recommend you back up any file.
Go to your BF2 install directory (It's probably something like C:/Program Files/EA Games/Battlefield2/) and once in there find the "Movies" folder.
In this folder you should find the following three files:
-EA.bik
-dice.bik
-nvidia_logo.bik
Copy %26amp; paste these files and change their name to include "_backup" (just so you don't lose these). Once this is done create three new text files (Right Click %26gt; New %26gt; Text Document) and rename them exactly like the old files. So now your folder should contain the following files:
-EA.bik (one of the text documents)
-dice.bik (one of the text documents)
-nvidia_logo.bik (one of the text documents)
-EA_backup.bik
-dice_backup.bik
-nvidia_logo_backup.bik
If there are more movies at the startup of the game you might try and experiment with the other bik files to try and find which one it is (from the names in the folder I'm guessing those are the three you need to replace). If you do not replace the files with your text documents then your game will not run and if you modify your init.con file to remove them you will not be able to join any multiplayer games.

I changed the direct x settings of battlefield 2 to 9, but whenver the game starts in multiplayer or singler player it exits out of the game. Return the game. And buy it off steam. Steam will allow you to play the game disc-less and all you have to do in log into their server and they will know u own the game and let you play the game.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is a VERY good game. Awesome multiplayer, HUGE maps, great campaign, SUPERB graphics. Also the complete building destruction adds a layer of realism that no other game has. Many unlockable weapons as you rank up in each class. That is another thing I like. You can't camp as a sniper and get a ton of kills and unlock a LMG by doing it. You have to earn points in each class separately(Assault, engineer, medic, recon) to get the corresponding weapons. I highly reccomend this game to any FPS lover.Would battlefield bad company 2 work in the middle east?
