Vietnam is an expansion pack, not a VIP mappack. So you will have to pay for it regardless of if you are a VIP or not.

How can I play Battlefield Bad company 2?
Every time I go on Battlefield Bad Company 2 my mouse(on the screen)goes left and stay there i cant move it besides up and down,I recently updated Windows 7 Starter to Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit.
It works fine when I am on my desktop its just in the game.

It's ok, it's a lot different than mw2. I disagree with the campers comment, you still have them. One problem with camping though is you get tooled by the vehicles.

Everybody told me that the multiplayer was awesome, and extremely addictive. But it is not as good as people make it out to be. The multiplayer aspect seems as they rushed in making it and did not think out things. Such as how you can choose where you want to spawn, considering that my teammate has 3 guys in front of him that he is flanking. I can spawn off of him and help him get the kills. Or I can kill an enemy and then have his teammates some how miraculously spawn from him and kill me. It is full of campers sniping everywhere, and it is pointless to go out because more than likely you will be killed from behind you due to the random spawning. It is a decent game, but not that great.Is Battlefield Bad Company 2 worth buying?
Battlefield Bad Company 2 is a great game with very large maps so the game is like a sniper playground. The game can get very intense at times due to all the Tanks and Helicopters that can come rolling around at any time. If your looking to have some great fun with large maps and vehicles than Battlefield is a game you can definitely get into. So if this is you, buy it.
The campaign is not as good as MW2 but I prefer the multiplayer. I think MW2 has a more robust and complicated system with all the perks and stuff. To me BBC is more fair when you are just starting out. Sure, you won't have access to all the weapons yet but it's not impossible to get kills like MW2 is. The first day MW2 came out I played the campaign then went to multiplayer. By then there were already level 40's who just owned. I don't think it was fair. I did not have a single perk and could barely get kills. BBC can get addictive but by the time I rented it I was already over the multiplayer as I overdid it with the demo. if you can find it used it might be worth it as it is fun.Is Battlefield Bad Company 2 worth buying?
in my opinion modern warfare two is just a recycled piece of garbage, like a carbon copy of cod4 modern warfare your getting a really good deal with battlefield so maybe trade in cod for that :)

I just got battlefield bad company 2 and I'm kind of lost in it. I tried playing online multi-player and the match literally went on forever. I haven't touched the campaign mode yet, but I will, maybe that will help me understand the game better.How do I play Battlefield, Bad Company 2?
The Bad Company 2 multiplayer is fairly complex, and will almost always last about 15-20 minutes for a match if not more.
There are several gametypes, but the main ones are this:
Rush, where there is an attacking and defending team. The attacking team has to go to the charges, A and B, and plant a bomb on them to advance to the next area or beat the other team. They have a collective of 75 lives for all of them, and lose the game when all of them are used. The defenders must keep the bombs from going off as long as possible, long enough to kill 75 of the attackers to win. If they lose a base, they have to move back and the attackers lives are reset to 75.
There is also Conquest, where there are a certain amounts of flags in the map. Your team needs to capture and hold the majority of those flags to get the other teams "tickets" down to 0 to win. Killing an enemy gives your team a ticket and removes one from the other team. Both teams start with 200.
There is also squad versions of both Rush and conquest, and the lives for those are much lower, as there are only 4 people per team. There is also Squad Deathmatch, where 16 players are thrown into 4 squads and the first squad to reach 50 kills is the winner, that is fairly straight forward.
In the multiplayer, you can respawn on your squadmates, if you have any, and at the normal base spawn. There are also four classes, each with different points. Assault uses assault rifles and can replenish ammo, engineers can shoot down tanks and helicopters and repair vehicles. They use Submachine guns. Medics use Light Machine guns and can replenish health of their teammates and even revive them, which gives the team back a life if they lost one, and there are the snipers with the long range rifles. They can drop mortars on the enemy.

Battlefield Bad Company online is a very tactical game. Like you would get into squads of four with mabey some friends:
1 Assault - Your average solider guns ammo etc
1 Medic - can heal fellow team-mates with the defibulator and have LMGs
1 Engineer - a repair tool to repair vehicles, smg and a rocket launcher
1 Recon - These guys have mortars, snipers and motion sensors

The Bad Company 2 multiplayer is fairly complex, and will almost always last about 15-20 minutes for a match if not more.
There are several gametypes, but the main ones are this:
Rush, where there is an attacking and defending team. The attacking team has to go to the charges, A and B, and plant a bomb on them to advance to the next area or beat the other team. They have a collective of 75 lives for all of them, and lose the game when all of them are used. The defenders must keep the bombs from going off as long as possible, long enough to kill 75 of the attackers to win. If they lose a base, they have to move back and the attackers lives are reset to 75.
There is also Conquest, where there are a certain amounts of flags in the map. Your team needs to capture and hold the majority of those flags to get the other teams "tickets" down to 0 to win. Killing an enemy gives your team a ticket and removes one from the other team. Both teams start with 200.
There is also squad versions of both Rush and conquest, and the lives for those are much lower, as there are only 4 people per team. There is also Squad Deathmatch, where 16 players are thrown into 4 squads and the first squad to reach 50 kills is the winner, that is fairly straight forward.
In the multiplayer, you can respawn on your squadmates, if you have any, and at the normal base spawn. There are also four classes, each with different points. Assault uses assault rifles and can replenish ammo, engineers can shoot down tanks and helicopters and repair vehicles. They use Submachine guns. Medics use Light Machine guns and can replenish health of their teammates and even revive them, which gives the team back a life if they lost one, and there are the snipers with the long range rifles. They can drop mortars on the enemy.

1 Assault - Your average solider guns ammo etc
1 Medic - can heal fellow team-mates with the defibulator and have LMGs

1 Recon - These guys have mortars, snipers and motion sensors

Why does BattleField Bad Company 2 crash when joining an online game on my iPod?
I have an iPod touch (4th generation) running iOS 5.0.1 and I have BattleField Bad Company 2 which crash anytime I join an ONLINE game. I just want to know if there is any fix or update for this problem.
I also noticed that when I create a game and someone joins it, it crashes...

The lest level is level 50 but i think you can reset to go back to 1 because if you look at the top of the leaderboards on PS3 a guy named digard was level 50 one day then i re checked and he was like level 9.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 :
- Great customization of kill streaks, weapons and callsigns.
- Huge online community.
- Small/Medium sized maps which encourage fast paced action.
- Little amount of lag and host migration system (if host quits a new host will be assigned).
- Short but epic campaign.
- Sharp textures on main features (guns, characters, some buildings and objects) but some fuzzy and bland textures here and there (walls, ground).
- Biggest problem regarding online is abusive people (campers, noob tubers, commando noobs).
Battlefield: Bad Company 2:
- Decent customization of classes (choosing weapons and attachments).
- Reasonabley large online community.
- Large/Very Large maps which encourages team play and tactics.
- Virtually no lag.
- Medium sized but bland campaign with no real "epic" moments.

You should get what your friends are getting because games are always more fun with friends. If you dont mind what your friends play than buy Bad Company 2 as there is no sequel planned right now which means more time playing it (new call of duty game is coming out this fall so yeah).

The weapon or gadget automatically becomes available (you dont have to go to some special screen or something). Weapons and gadgets are also available through purchase online. The only other thing I'm having trouble getting used to is that the game loads out of a browser rather then opening a game and going from there. I just find it can make it tedious to sit there waiting for a game to load over and over again depending on how many disconnections you get (getting better but at the start it was bad).

Better maps, better wepons , better everything, unfortunatly we were dissapointed in black ops the campain was fun but multiplayer is lacking in excitment(campers are rampant) often the system has a hard time finding a game which is ridiculous because everyone pretty much is playing that game, and the maps are really small.hope that helps!

I think it's better to uninstall the cracked version and do a clean install from the disc. That way you would be able to download the latest patch and you never know what stuffs arent supposed to be in the illegal version. Better to be safe than sorry right? I play modern wrarfare 2 alot and im going to get battlefield bad company 2 in about a month(hopefully) and I heard that the controls are different, could you tell me what you use to shoot. aim, crouch, throw grenades ECT. For shooting, ads (aim down sight). sprinting, reloading, and switching weapons is the same as any other shooter.
The only difference is the d-pads are for switching between your gadgets, LB for grenades, clicking the right thumb stick makes you crouch (unless you played with the tactic layout on MW2) and RB is for knifing,
You can set the controls up to where is works like the first one. (unless you haven't played the first one)

Halo has a rather linear gameplay. People spawn, run to the nearest rocket/sword/sniper/etc. and the killfest begins. This makes it important to know where said weapons are so you can fight over those and know what paths people will take to get them. However, in BFBC2, there is no competition for certain parts of the map because there is no one place that both teams can get to that spawns an overly powered weapons or vehicle. People go all over the maps.

Bad company 2 is somewhat similar in that it's somewhat easy to take on campers but if they are camping really bad what class, specs, and things can i use to overcome them? in my opinion recon is the best because of motion mines and the spot spec but what else can i do?What's the best class in battlefield bad company 2 to take on campers?
Each class has their own pros and cons. You generally have to find out which one works best for you. Try not to dwell too much on Kill/Death Ratio. Focus more on Win/Loss, and being part of a better team than being just a better player. Assault is great for close combat, but is really handy for mid-range sniping, such as picking off someone in the distance with good stopping power. Don't forget to use them to replenish ammo. Engineer is generally an anti-armour class, used against vehicles of all sorts; as such with RPGs and Repair tools for their own vehicles. Medics are used to practically hold back the enemy with their LMGs, and heal and revive. They're vital for matches where tickets are dropping down fast; and you want their stopping power and ability to heal others. Recon classes can be great for ambushes with C4, and picking off enemies at long range, but it's best not to turn into a Sniper with them. That's just camping in one spot and sniping enemies. There's no real skill involved with that. A successful Recon will take a few kills, but then reposition themselves for better odds at survival.Usage of the Mortar Strike is also good for scaring off vehicles at choke points.

You can't play BC2 online for free (for now at least).
What EA has done is giving the dedicated server files only to trusted game server providers. Without the dedicated server files out in the open there is no way to bypass the authentication checks. Some files were previously leaked from an Italian server but they're now outdated and also no one has cracked them yet.
I guess that your best choice is either buying a legit cd key online for about $15 or getting one of your friends to buy it and give you his account (lol).

Why are my stats not getting saved in Bad Company 2?
I have had Bad Company 2 for a while now and I am rank 20. I was recently playing and I earned 23,000 xp with alot of badges and I unlocked 3 weapons. I left the server later and saw that none of those stats were saved. I even gained a level and it wasn't saved. I tried joining another server but that one didn't save my stats either! Is this just happening to me or is it a bug?Why are my stats not getting saved in Bad Company 2?
Its normal on the ps3 and 360. Sounds like you might be on the computer so im not sure if this fix will help you or not....
On the ps3/360 there is a multiplayer tab and under it one options is gadgets and unlocks. When ever I exit out of a game I always go to that before joining a new one. That will for what ever reason fix this issue. I used to lose a level or gun quite often, I unlocked the m60 probally 3 times before it saved. After I started doing this it has never happend again. i know its my opinion but think about it. It is extrmely slow. the only good class is a sniper or assault rifle. The maps are humongous with like 8-16 people at a time(it says 24 but that isnt true for half of the modes and i dont like the ones with 24 people) anyways the multiplayer sucks. I'm almost certain my computer will run Bad Company 2 Single Player at around 30-40 FPS. The problem is, will it run Multiplayer. Someone told me there is a very big difference in performance.

So yes, the multiplayer is a little more taxing on your system because there are more things happening on screen in a larger area than in the singleplayer. If you want to make sure you can run it pretty smoothly go to srtest.com and follow the instructions. It scans your computer (don't worry it won't harm it in anyway or take any secure info) and matches it with the BC2 specs or whatever game you want and tells you what you are lacking in and how well you will be able to run it. Honestly though you should be fine. You might have to turn 1 or 2 settings down a notch but it is worth it. Even with medium graphics, the game looks amazing. Especially with the fully destructible environments.
