How do i get different sniper rifles in Bad Company 2?

i'm playing Bad Company 2 (MULTIPLAYER) and the only sniper i have is bolt action. Can anyone help me with how i can get a semi-automatic sniper rifle? and how do i enable that in the mltiplayer mode? does it depend on kills for the sniper rifle itself (if so, how many?)?How do i get different sniper rifles in Bad Company 2?
You unlock new weapons and gadgets in BC2 by just using the class. All XP you earn will transfer over to your class's unlock tree, and once you reach a certain amount, a new weapon or gadget will be unlocked.



If you're using the M24, the next sniper rifle is the T88 Sniper, and it's a semi automatic. Only downside is it's a two headshot kill.

the only way to unlock them is to get sniper points. Do this by killing targets as recon with sniper or pistol, spotting targets or blowing up tanks with c4. I beleive there are 2-3 semi automatic snipers.How do i get different sniper rifles in Bad Company 2?
Play as recon... if you are bad at recon then start out as recon and pick up a different kit on the ground and you will still get points for recon even though you would be using an assult, medic, or engineer gun.
